The Company is owned 100% by Tanzanian directors with Industrial hygiene, Environmental, Occupational Health, Safety and Construction background. The directors hold a combined experience of more than 15 years in operations, training and consultancy.

Manti Michael is an experienced and certified Environmental and Occupational Hygienist from Tanzania with a BSc in Environmental and Laboratory Engineering (ELST) and an MSc in Environmental Technology and Management from Ardhi University in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. He is currently finalizing his PhD in Environmental Technology and Management, focusing on hazards airborne assessment and controls to protect high-risk workers. Manti is the Consultant and Managing Director at Manos Environmental and Construction Services Engineering Limited, a university lecturer, and the Acting Head of Department at Ardhi University’s School of Engineering and Environmental Studies, where he teaches environmental engineering and management subjects including Noise, Vibration, Air Quality, GHG Gases, Climate Change Impacts on the environment, Health Impact Assessment, Developing Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), Risk Assessment and Management, Air Pollution and Emission Monitoring and Control, Environmental and Social Impact Assessment/Audit, Occupational Health and Safety, Occupational Hygiene, and the design of environmental pollution control facilities.
He has extensive experience in delivering Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, and Industrial Hygiene programs, including Asbestos Surveys. He is knowledgeable in all aspects of environmental and safety management, from developing ESMS according to IFC/WBG standards to air emission audits, training, investigations, policy development, data analysis, and regulatory compliance. Manti has conducted or been involved in more than 160 projects for national and international companies, covering Noise, Vibration, Air Quality, GHG Gases, Climate Change Impacts, Health Impact Assessments, ESMS development, Asbestos Surveys, and Air Emission Monitoring.
He has overseen environmental, occupational health, and safety regulatory compliance for large and small-scale manufacturing and chemical processing industries, mining operations (both open and underground pits), oil and gas, and construction sectors. With over 16 years of experience in Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and training, his expertise spans auditing, monitoring, technology evaluation, and designing controls for Chemical Hazards, Physical Hazards, Biological Hazards, Ergonomic Hazards, and Psychological Hazards such as Dust (Crystalline Respirable Silica, Respirable, Inhalable), aerosols, Noise, Fumes and Gases, Vapors, Asbestos, Vibrations, Indoor Air Quality, Diesel Particulate Matter, Light, Surveillance Blood Tests, Ergonomic and Psychological Assessments, Heat Stress, Relative Humidity, Velocity and Flow Rate for assessment of ventilation and hoods, Radiation, Metal Particulates, Ventilation Systems, etc. Manti has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals focusing on Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety.
He is registered and certified with several international and national professional boards, including the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS), South African Institute for Occupational Hygiene (SAIOH), International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH), American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA), American Public Health Association (APHA), Workplace Health Without Borders (WHWB), Tanzania Chamber of Minerals and Energy (TCME), and the Tanzania National Environmental Management Council (NEMC) as an Environmental Expert authorized to undertake EIA/EA.
Manti has held various senior managerial and technical positions in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, and Occupational Hygiene programs across major companies and NGOs. These include serving as Nigeria Environmental and Occupational Hygiene Project Coordinator (6 years) for Occupational Knowledge International (a U.S.-based NGO) and Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières, Operational Centre Amsterdam). He was also the Environmental and Occupational Hygienist/Head of Department for Bulyanhulu Barrick Gold Mine (4 years), Director and Consultant for Manos Environmental and Construction Services Engineering Limited (leading more than 128 projects), Project Coordinator for The African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF), and Consultant Team Leader for Shanta Gold Mine Ltd.
Other notable roles include Industrial Hygiene Director for Healthy Working Environments (HWE NGO), Environmental and Lead Poisoning Project Coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), Health Promotion Manager for MSF (covering Environmental Lead Poisoning, IDP & SGBV, Hospital, and ATFC programs), Consultant Team Leader for Total Tanzania Limited and Tembo Nickel Mining, Survey Consultant Team Leader for Lafarge Tanzania Mbeya Cement Plant, Environmental Laboratory Technologist for the Lake Victoria Environmental Management Project (LVEMP), and Team Leader (Asbestos Survey) for Murzah Wilmar East Africa Limited (Kipawa and Buguruni areas, October 2021).
In 2021, Manti received the prestigious Leslie Nickels International Health & Safety Award from the American Public Health Association (APHA) for his outstanding contributions as an Environmental and Industrial Hygienist operating outside the United States. That same year, he was also awarded (turbaned) with three Traditional Chieftaincy/King Titles in Northern Nigeria in recognition of his exceptional five-year contribution to Environmental, Occupational Health, and Safety initiatives
